What we do:

We are a professional, independent Manufacturers' Representative.  Our principals (the companies we represent) utilize us as their sales channel partners.  We provide a resource to our customers who require assistance with technical, engineering, and application information on the various products our principals manufacture. 

We have a unique and valuable position in this hierarchy because we work for both our principals and our customers.

our marketing areas:

Our primary geographical marketing areas are the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.  We also service specific customers in border states on a case-by-case basis. 

Our specialty is marketing engineered technical component products to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), commercial, and industrial customer. 

history:

Granite Technical Company, Inc. was formed in 1997.  The founder, Mike Johnstone, previously managed a manufacturers' representative firm based in Charlotte which he helped start in 1986.  Prior to that, Mike was a Regional Sales Manager for Ametek US Gauge, responsible for OEM sales in the southeastern states.

Our company represents over 20 years of continuous technical sales and marketing experience in our territory.
